The Difference Between A Winch Vs A Hoist

Our monorail track systems can be used both outdoors and indoors. Monorails are appropriate for medium-rise facilities with sophisticated designs and hard-to-reach façades. As building designs become more unorthodox, there is a greater demand for solutions that allow access to the full facade, regardless of its complexity. Our monorail systems meet that need. A track system comprises two components: rails and a trolley that moves over them. A monorail system can be effortlessly attached to a building’s parapet or ceiling, allowing it to handle even the most challenging routes. Monorail installation entails merely aligning the monorail track with the building’s curve. Many novel functions may be added to our monorail systems to make working on a facade easier. Our monorail systems, for example, can be equipped with a hoist for lifting glass panels, making window replacement a breeze. The hoist enables workers to install glass panels with minimal effort. Utilizing the central control panel, users can position themselves in front of the facade using this technology with self-hoist gondolas. Monorails can be used both inside and outside the building and have a low visual impact. So, what are some of the other benefits of using a monorail system?

The Benefits Of Using Monorail Systems

Monorail systems include a few benefits over other facade access options. For starters, a monorail system that is permanently fixed is significantly more helpful than, say, a suspended scaffold or a transportable raised work platform. In addition, workers will be able to access the whole facade along the rail trajectory without moving the complete system if they use a monorail system with a self-hosting gondola.

Indoors, monorails can be used to access the skylights or the glass inside a facade. As a result, scaffolding and other cumbersome access solutions are no longer required. The gondola can also be detachable from the rails and kept, leaving the rail track as the only observable portion of the system.

A monorail system is substantially less obtrusive than the Building Maintenance Unit (BMU). The system takes up no room on the roof, freeing up space for ventilation systems, rooftop terraces, and other amenities. A monorail’s rail track can painstakingly follow the contours of a building’s facade, allowing access to the whole exterior. Due to maintenance rooms, elevator shafts, or other equipment or structures on the roof that deter the machine from reaching the facade, a BMU roof car’s movements are frequently restricted. This necessitates the use of a roofed vehicle with a longer range to reach all facade components, although these manage to place a greater stress on the structure.

Monorails For Just About Any Facade

Indoor and outdoor monorail systems are available. Monorails are appropriate for complex medium-rise buildings with difficult-to-reach façades. However, as building designs become more unusual, there is a greater demand for solutions that allow access to the full facade, regardless of its complexity. Pro-Bel monorail systems meet that demand. The rails and the trolley that runs over the rails make up a monorail system. In addition, a monorail system can be conveniently attached to the parapet or ceiling of a structure, allowing it to handle even the most difficult paths.

Monorail Systems Concerning Architecture

Pro-Bel supports BMU designs that do not detract from the aesthetics of a building. This is mirrored in how we create our monorail systems: if it isn’t possible to integrate our monorails into the ceiling, the rail tracks can be color-coated to blend in with the building’s appearance. Furthermore, the gondolas can be detached from the trolley and parked out of sight. Monorails can even be constructed to complement a building’s architecture.

Access to difficult-to-reach or restricted external or interior glass locations is common with Pro-Bel monorail systems. A Pro-Bel monorail system typically comprises an aluminum rail section with a traversing trolley that can be operated manually or electrically.
